Infinite thanks to our incredible supporters and friends during lockdown

Birmingham Irish • July 18, 2020

Whilst emerging from lockdown and into a new kind of normal, we have been taking some time to look back on how far we have come over the last few months. Below are some of the statistics representing the quantity of those we have helped since lockdown began.

  • 482 hot food deliveries
  • 1,531 food parcels
  • 429 helpline calls
Without the help of the public, our incredibly generous friends at Warwickshire GAA and the amazing people at the organisations listed below, we would not have been able to reach out across the city to the sheer breadth of people who have so desperately needed us physically and mentally in these difficult times.
Some of our donors/supporters included:
  • Big Lottery
  • Awards for All
  • National Lottery Community Fund
  • Birmingham City Council
  • Irish Youth Foundation
  • Heart of England Community Foundation
  • Government of Ireland Emigrant Support Programme
  • BBC Children in Need
  • Clothworkers Foundation
  • The Ireland Funds Great Britain
We can’t even begin to explain the difference in wellbeing that these services provide for many in the community, especially those who visit us regularly and for whom the social interactions and developments are their sole opportunities to do so. You have enabled us to be there for and fulfill our community through primary care more than we ever have before, and for that we are so infinitely grateful.
