Birmingham Irish Association Toy and Warmth Appeal 2022

Birmingham Irish • January 22, 2023

Throughout the winter months of 2022, at Birmingham Irish Association our team decided to create a Toy and Warmth Appeal that was focused on helping individuals and families that were struggling with the run up to Christmas, due to the cost of living crisis.

The toys focused on children from newborn up to 16 years old, the warmth items from newborn to elderly. With the help of the GAA clubs, Tolkien Schools and general members of the public we received an outstanding donation of toys and warmth items.

The response to our appeals in general are always amazing but this appeal, with the crisis affecting most people in our community, it has touched our hearts to see the generosity and kindness that people have shown.

The Staff and Trustee’s at Birmingham Irish Association are truly grateful to everyone who has got involved and made a difference to a child’s Christmas and kept our community warm this winter.
