Meet our team! BIA Emotional Support Worker, Shelby Whitehead

Birmingham Irish • January 28, 2022

Although we see daily normalities resume amidst the Omicron variant, it's safe to say that the repercussions of the last two years can be fully seen in our communities in a myriad of ways through our range of bespoke services.

Through our personalised services, members of our community are always treated with compassion, patience, kindness and empathy. Through over 60 years of serving, we have found that this the key to providing services of outstanding quality and relevance, and it rings as true today as it did when opening many years ago.

The ability to deliver services of this nature on the scale that we do, is without a doubt, due to our wonderful teams, and one particular member who embodies phenomenal amounts of these vital skills, is our wonderful Emotional Support Worker, Shelby.

By providing carefully constructed mental sessions, centred wholly around those aged over 21, Shelby's passion for aiding mental health and talent for communication truly shines as her guidance and knowledge enables trust, quality relationships to build and ultimately creates a safe space where progress can naturally thrive.

We are so proud to have you with us on the team Shelby, and we thank you so much for all the wonderful work you do for our youngest generation, every single day. By actively encouraging our young adults to better their mental health and showing them the tools to do so, you are elevating happiness and strength not only for the immediate future, but also in the years to come.

The next edition of our newsletter will feature another fantastic staff member from our organisation, so make sure to stay tuned!
