Update: Foreign Birth Registration Witness Service

Birmingham Irish • October 25, 2023

Unfortunately, at present Birmingham Irish Association are unable to witness any FBR/Citizenship Applications. This is due to a recent issue at their office which we are waiting to be resolved.

We have been signing these applications as well as Passport applications for many years now without any problems and can still continue with the Passport witnessing.

This means that some applications that are being processed now that have been completed in the last 12 months will be paused and the applicant will be asked to find another witness.

We know how frustrating this must be after an already lengthy process and will keep you updated as soon as we know more.

We are still able to complete your applications and check your documents should you wish us to do so and there is no charge for this service.

Details of other witnesses can be found on the Department of Foreign Affairs website - Click here

If you would like further information, then please get in touch via catherine@birish.org.uk or call our office on 01216046111 Monday – Friday between 10am & 2pm
