It is so incredibly rare to come across an individual who, despite facing his own personal battles in his life, could illuminate a room just as this incredible young man could.
In this day and age, the term "legend" is used far too easily, but in this case Mark, he was and always will be, a true legend.
His passion for life and of celebrating Irish heritage was exemplary for us all. His selfless attitude and sense of humour was utterly infectious.
You have left your footprint on this world and your family, although heartbroken, we hope will take some comfort from the joy and love that you have brought to all of our lives.
Everyone at Birmingham Irish Association will never forget you and your spirit will live on in everything we do.
