The Easter Egg Appeal 2023

Birmingham Irish • Apr 24, 2023

Everyone at Birmingham Irish Association hope that you all had a fantastic Easter break.  🐣

In the lead up to Easter for the past two years Birmingham Irish Association have worked in partnership with Blues Central Travel for an Easter Egg Appeal. This year it was decided that the appeal will continue and has now taken place for the third year running.

The idea behind the appeal is to collect donations of Easter eggs and reach out and distribute to people who are in need. Today we would like to share the outstanding efforts from our community once again donating an incredible amount 630 Easter eggs to our appeal. The donations each year are phenomenal and really do make a difference.

All of the eggs have been distributed out over the Easter break, with the help of so many of you we have been able to put a smile on many children’s faces once again this year.

With the huge amount of donations this year we have branched out to many families in Birmingham as well as, The Children's Trust, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Children's trust Palliative care, St Basils children and baby unit and St Basils adolescence unit, Care homes and vulnerable families in our community.

We would like to say a huge thank you to each and every person who made the appeal such a huge success again this year, with special thanks to...
