National Volunteers Week at Birmingham Irish : 2019

As National Volunteers week draws to a close we have been celebrating the fantastic work carried out by these incredibly dedicated people.
Their commitment, passion and professionalism help the organisation to run like clockwork, and we would never be able to provide the services to our community without them.
We are very proud of each and every one of them and they are an integral part of the Birmingham Irish Association family.
Our volunteers provide important assistance with our activity, support and programmes as well as office functions.
Volunteers are a vital service for the organisation complementing the staff team and welcoming clients through the front reception, assisting with passport renewals, and managing the phone lines.

In December 2024 we reintroduced the Birmingham Irish Association Toy Appeal with the aim of supporting our wonderful community.There's been consistent support for our appeals.
We are delighted to announce that our much loved St Patrick's Parade will be returning to its traditional route for 2025. Last year’s Parade was the first held since the Covid pandemic.
At Birmingham Irish, we feel that the beautiful language of Gaelic is an extraordinary gift that should be passed down from generation to generation with immense pride.
